I loved everything about Villa Blanca Huatulco. breakfast was outstanding, WOW. Food was very tasty, with a wide variety of selection . You definetly wont go hungry. I have travelled many places and this hotel offered the best breakfast ever!!!!! Hats off to the chefs . …we had the junior suite and the .rooms were clean and very spacious, the bed was very comfortable with good quality sheets. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant and the prices were very affordable and the portions were quite generous. Nice relaxation live music in the lobby area every night. Soo nice. Location was perfect. 5 minutes way from Cahue beach ..so pretty..less crowed but no shade and water was rough. No chairs, we negotiated a price to have a beach chairs at the beach club which had a pool and shaded area and a beautiful view of the beach. The hotel offers a beach club further down the..maybe 1 km away. They provided a shuttle to the beach club. Easy walk to get there and from. 15 minutes walk to the downtown …grocery store which was around the corner was amazing . I will be back for sure … loved everything about this hotel and will be back

Alejandro is the best organized tour offered tablet arrange transportation to airport and explained trip with detail and pictures I know what you are wondering, why is a 3 star hotel filled with 5 star reviews? Reason: the staff All the staff are amazing but special mention to Moises Ricardo candy Aaron gaby Laura Fabian tomasa Alejandro hernesto Mary This is a small boutique hotel with so much charm - it has 61 rooms and a perfect pool which is great for kids. The hotel has iguanas and 2 cats. It is decorated in traditional Mexican style with beautiful abrigas. Hotel has a free shuttle to the beach is Santa Cruz which is 16 minute walk. It is 8 minutes from Chahue beach which has strong currents so not for swimming. It’s few minutes walk from a huge grocery store Chedraui. Breakfast is included and it is fantastic. We had eggs with pumpkin flower and Oaxacan cheese and avocados every day. They have fruits, vegetables, cooked food, yogurt and granola and juices and coffee. Breakfast is 8-11. Rooms are air conditioned with small balcony and quiet. If you have kids the suite could be an issue as it has stairs. Rooms 324 and 325 are very quiet- showers have most amazing shower gel and conditioner which made my skin so smooth. Rooms have a safe and a fridge and iron board. Beds were comfy. Room service is impeccable- the rooms above the lobby have elevator access Restaurant at hotel serves great food for lunch and dinner and they have theme nights Pool is nicely lit at night and has beautiful garden around it Tours - We booked a private tour to go to alligator and animal sanctuary and turtle release and chocolate sanctuary. It was 10/10- Alejandro organized everything and Diego was the best. Alejandro is the best if you want an organized tour. Our laptop overheated and Alejandro was kind enough to offer his tablet. He can arrange transportation to airport or other places and he explained trip with detail and pictures - Alejandro is the best We also booked a tour of 7 bays with air canada through Xpert travel- it was awful- I got a bad sunburn and Montezumas curse from restaurant they recommended and pushed us to take. The boat driver was awful- he was on his phone and driving and half the time hands were not on wheel. He let other passengers drive. He was serving mezcal from a bottle to clients and the dingy boat had zero shade. We had to transfer to another boat to get to shore 4x. The tour guide was awful and never gave exact time when we were leaving - he would say 1.5-2hr and we would be looking for him as we were all ready and he would say “relax lady relax”. I got allergic reaction as well and still haven’t recovered - it was 1/10 experience- and it was 2x cost of the big catamaran tours. There was no washrooms. Restaurant they took us to was Don Ramón and it has 1.5 star on trip advisor - it’s expensive and horrible food. I wish I booked shuttle from airport with hotel instead of air canada as air canada shuttle took 3x longer (over an hour and hotel is 17 minutes away as they drop of las Brisas customers first which makes no sense as they are further away). Highly recommend this hotel and thanks so much to all

We reserved a Jr Suite and on viewing it saw that we would have to negotiate a full flight of stairs to get to the bathroom. We thought this was too dangerous at our age and at night. They offered us a standard room (17% less expensive) and denied our request for a refund or on site credit for food or other services. Booking.com followed suit saying there are photos of the staircase. There is no mention as to whether the bathroom is on the upper or lower floor, though. The very next guests to register did receive that Jr suite, so there was no loss to the hotel. At the Friday BBQ night we shared a “rib eye” steak. My half I could not cut with a steak knife or chew. Surely, grass-fed beef will be more dense but this was impossible to eat. We dined elsewhere for the duration of our stay I must say that the hotel was quiet, clean and breakfasts were outstanding.
We will be repeat guests.

We just booked another week in March. The pool is exceptionally clean and never crowded. The resort is predominantly Canadians. We enjoyed 2 barbeque nights there…all our steaks were top notch. cooked to perfection. The breakfasts are extensive. The service is wonderful. I can’t say enough about the staff. Wonderful. The beach club is small but the service and food there is also excellent. Rooms are clean but dated. Air conditioner worked wonderfully, and was quiet. That is very important for us. Loved the hotel, hence, returning March 19. Elaine and David Canada
