Grand Velas Boutique Hotel was not only one of the best all-inclusive resorts I've stayed at, but also one of the best resorts...period! My husband and I were looking for a relaxing adults only "lay by the pool" vacation. From the moment we arrived, the staff and resort exceeded our expectations. Our personal Concierge, Gabriella, was attentive, friendly, and assisted us with everything we needed within minutes. All of the staff were friendly and accomodating. The rooms and amenities exceeded our expectations. The pool was beautiful, the food phenomenal, and the ambience was quiet and relaxing. We will recommend to friends, and hope to return.
Outstanding all inclusive resort

Just spent a week at Grand Velas Boutique Hotel. This was my 1st solo trip and I was a little nervous but I'm so glad I went. The luxurious accomodations both inside and outside exceeded what I experienced at any other resort I've ever been to. Yes it's expensive but this is a case of you get what you pay and beyond! I was greeted by my concierge Itzel on arrival with a welcome drink. I stayed in a very spacious grand king suite that had the most beautiful view of the sea and you could hear the waves crashing from inside the suite all the time. Complimentary bottles of tequila and wine were welcomed and the snack bars were refreshed daily. I ate at all the restaurants on site and the food and service were outstanding. I ate dinner several times at Loto Robota Grill and lunch was outstanding at Roca Snack &Bar. I will be writing separate reviews for these dining establishments. My concierge made suggestions for where I might want to dine, and then made all the reservations for me. Had no problem getting reservations and none of the dining places were crowded when I was there. I did not get a chance to dine at Velas 10 or Cocina de Autor (next time). The 24 hour gym had an excellent array of equipment. went to Lucca (loved) and Frida at Grand Velas, which is either a short walk or golf cart ride away. Pool was a little crowded on one occasion and I didn’t get the service I should have had for ordering drinks and food. I had much more attentive service the next time I went to the pool. Ordered room service twice and it was fine. Capped each evening off with a cocktail at 51 Bar. I really enjoyed staying here. The food and drinks in the all inclusive package were outstanding. I highly recommend and I plan to visit annually.
