Overall the resourt is a very nice resort. The staff were very happy and welcoming at all times each day. They were very accommodating. The shower in the room was amazing. The French restaurant was my favorite and the buffet had lots of good food.

I just returned from a 5-night stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun, and here is my honest, unbiased review based on personal experience: 1. Staff – 10/10 The staff were exceptional—consistently friendly, welcoming, and polite regardless of tipping. They truly made the experience feel warm and personal. 2. Cleanliness – 8.5/10 The resort is overall very clean and well-maintained, but a few areas could benefit from more detailed upkeep. 3. Beach – 1/10 Unfortunately, the beach was the biggest letdown. Heavy seaweed made it nearly impossible to swim. The natural shoreline is rocky, with white sand added artificially over a rough reef. Walking is difficult due to sharp rocks, and there’s virtually no space for a proper beach walk. Not ideal for beach lovers. 4. Food – 8/10 (Breakfast/Lunch), 5/10 (Dinner) Morning and lunch buffets were enjoyable with good variety and quality. However, dinner was disappointing—there is no buffet option in the evening, only à la carte, which lacked variety and felt underwhelming. 5. Lounge & Relaxation Space – 1/10 There is a surprising lack of shaded lounge areas during the day. If you want to relax, your only real option is to return to your room. In the evening, there are no comfortable couches or relaxation areas—just hard wooden chairs or standing options. It’s not suitable for couples looking for a romantic evening atmosphere. 6. Service – 10/10 Service throughout the resort was outstanding—especially poolside and on the beach. The team was attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. Special thanks to Alexander, the manager of pool bar area for going above and beyond. 7. Pools – 9/10 The pools are fantastic, especially the ones with ocean views. Clean, spacious, and perfect for enjoying the sun and social atmosphere. Final Verdict: Breathless Riviera Cancun shines in staff hospitality, pool experiences, and top-tier service. However, it falls short in beach quality, evening comfort, and dinner variety. If you’re looking for great energy, service, and poolside fun, it delivers. But if you value a swimmable beach and cozy lounge spaces, this might not be the ideal fit.

I came in a family trip (from 50s to 80s years old) and we had a Great experience. Food and drinks are awesome, entertainment at pool and at night is a non stop. Shout out to the bar team Alexander, Santiago y Edwin, Sergio and Carlos made a funny guacamole class.

My husband and I came here for to celebrate his birthday. The staff made sure to make his birthday memorable. They were absolutely amazing and making sure to accommodate us every step of the way. The service at this resort exceeded more than I have ever experienced. Thanks to Rogilio and Edwin at the Energy pool Xhale side for always making sure we had a drink before we could ask. Alexander the manager was so attentive and always making sure we had everything we needed. Mary was always helpful and checking in on us daily. The service and this resort, hands down is what makes it such a great place to visit.

Great boutique hotel. Nice and small so everything is right there. No trekking through the jungle to get to the restaurants or bars. Our room faced the ocean and the Wink courtyard, so during events it could be a bit loud (if you're an early to bed type of person, request a room facing the other direction), but once the events were over at 11:00pm, it wasn't an issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort, and I can't wait to go back.
