Beautiful Barcelo Maya Grand Resort!

We have been coming to this resort since 2006 & continue to always have a fantastic vacation! The resort, food & employees are really great! Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!

The resort itself is beautiful! Some staff was very friendly while there were a few who wasn’t. The resort is almost an hour from the airport so the drive was miserable with it being so hot outside. Food was a hit or miss for the most part.

The resort is very nice and clean. All the amenities are enjoyable and family friendly. The restaurants are great especially the Japanese one. The pool is massive and the beach is beautiful right next to the pool. The gym is nice and clean with a lot of machinery and weights. Overall, this is a beautiful resort that I recommend anyone to visit.

The highlights were the food and service. Even though we went during the height of algae season, the staff was working hard to clean up the beach. Overall, it was amazing!! The only caveat would be to bring your own towels if you can.

We all very much enjoyed staying at the Barcelo Tropical resort and said we would 100% come again and will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Everything about the resort from staff, food, easy access to the pool and beach to the fitness center and spa we loved!! 10/10
