My wife and I have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the TRS Yucatan. We were checked into villa 68, where we were well looked after by Eric and Jessica. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was spotlessly clean, as it was every day. Wherever we went, we were always greeted with a smile, whether it was the bell-boys, cart drivers or reception. Most mornings we would have breakfast at Capricho's and the staff there were amazing. As for the restaurants that we used, the staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. Overall, we were very well looked after. So much so, that I'm sure we shall be returning there again next year. David & Andrea Smith

My time at Trs was amazing. Nothing special was done for my bday but just relaxing not having to worry about anything was the best for me. Food was great nice and hot. Staff over the top always loveeeeeeee it here

I had the pleasure of being served by our waiter, Pedro. He was very nice and generous, ensured our glasses were never empty, and handled a special dietary request with professionalism and care. It’s rare to find someone who strikes the perfect balance between efficiency and friendliness, but he did exactly that.

Seems the email correspondence before the visit is not shared with the staff onsite. We were offered discounts and upgrades and a wishlist that the staff did not receive and did not honor discounts offered in emails. Instead we were upsold on palladium plus experience but received little of what’s promised. Also were harassed a bit too much by the teal shirts trying salesman. Other than that beautiful resort and kind people! Very luxurious!

What an awesome stay we had at TRS Yucatan. We would definitely recommend a stay at TRS Yucatan. We had a warm and pleasant welcome, with small towels for cleaning your hands and face and a glass of ‘Champaign’. We had booked a Junior Suite and it was very nice, and more importantly the beds felt/slept very good. Too bad it were queensize beds, but that wasn’t an issue for us. We had diner and lunch in different restaurants which was good. The only restaurant which we didn’t like that much was ‘El Gaucho”. You would expect good tender beef(steak) but it wasn’t as tender as one might expect. We’ve had lunch at Capricho(a la carte) and Helios (buffet) and we enjoyed it very much. The cabaret, Chic, is a must see/do. Great food, great show, it was an amazing experience. The pool was also very good. Big, clean, lots of beds, very quiet, which we enjoyed it very much. Then a big shout-out to LuisO and Christian. They were our butlers during our stay. Everyone on the resort was very, very nice, but LuisO and Christian made our stay next-level. So thanks again LuisO and Christian. So, were there any downsides? Yes, but minor ones. The shop in ‘Colonial’ is way too expensive. If you are a smoker, a packet of cigarette costs around $16 USD while in a local supermarket it would costs you maybe $6 USD. And some Pringels will cost about $9,- USD. All in all, we’ve had an amazing stay and would definitely return here again!
