Wow, what a change. We’ve been coming to Sandos Playa for many years. This year there were many changes and none were positive. We first noticed the amount of turnover with the employees. Every year we would see many familiar faces, not this year. We saw less than 10 in a staff of hundreds. The members only/adult only pool pump was broke for over 10 days, but pool still open, The water was very gross. Most elevators in the adult only buildings are broken. Employees at most all bars “just doing their job”. Most of the employees seem very unhappy. In the members only, swim up bar there is no service. You have to get out of the pool and go up to the walk up bar. Menus in speciality restaurants have less items and many “not” available. Adult only pool has “special” patio chairs but not available unless you pay for bottle service. Why would I pay for cheap liquor to sit in a padded chair? All were unused for the 10 days we were there. AC in the 10 rooms we rented didn’t work well, when reported, nothing as done other than they’ll report it. Concrete on the stair treads in the adult only buildings are broken, leaving rebar exposed, easy to trip on. Last but certainly not least, room service takes over an hour. We are very unhappy with the decline of this resort and probably won’t return until this unskilled management team is replaced.

The beds were so comfy! The staff very friendly and El Gaucho the best restaurant to eat at!! Room service is prompt and polite. The staff did everything to be accommodating and ensure an amazing experience. My favorite part of the whole trip was eating at El Gaucho

Arael is the best bartender. Made the trip worth it himself. What a guy. We were very welcomed and felt great the whole time. The drinks are fantastic and the service is even better. Would definitely recommend coming and visiting. Viva la Mexico

I just wanted to give a shout out to Yessi our server of drinks! She was so awesome that we wanna come back and as soon as we can! Marlon was our entertainer and made us feel special. Maria and Iris were our massage specialists and highly recommend them for a massage. Sandos Rocks!

Awesome resorts. Italian and French were my favorite restaurants. If you want A rate service go to Italian and ask for Domingo. Avenue Bar us great. Great drinks and service is awesome with Marion, Joseph, and CeeCee. Can't forget about the adult only pool with the great Yessi serving around pool. She is totally awesome as well
