I had a wonderful time!

Amanda F on May 04, 2025

I came here for a business trip and had a wonderful time! The rooms are clean and spacious, the view in your private balcony is superb, and the staff is very friendly and knows fluent English. The food is also very good. I ate at the Maxal restaurant and Christopher was my waiter and my chef was Eduardo. The food was amazing and Christopher gave me such excellent service! He was so nice and helpful making great recommendations on what to order. Wonderful guy! ?? I highly recommend the lamb barbacoa. I'm sad that I leave tomorrow, but I'm grateful and blessed to have stayed here and have had such a wonderful time. I definitely recommend this resort.

Great Trip!

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this hotel because my experience with all inclusive as a Hilton offering was basically in Cabo. The Hilton los Cabos or La Pacifica if you’re at grand vacations is simply amazing! It has the best food so I was hoping for the same type of experience in Puerto Vallarta with this hotel, I really didn’t know that Hilton had a hotel in Puerto Vallarta. I also realize upon this day that I really never stayed in Puerto Vallarta. I always had stayed in Nuevo Vallarta, which is different because the beach is brown ocean is brown and the pools in the accommodations are really new out there, but this is far more pucturesque. We upgraded before visiting and had a wonderful room with a small spa tub in the deck with a dining table. It was beautiful. We found the food to be great, but the restaurants do get crowded so you had to make reservations. The beach part was just OK. But we enjoyed both the beach and the pool. We rented the daybeds outside and they were inexpensive. It was just a little disorganized because they didn’t bring you the receipt or check you in and then when we try to check out, we thought they were just charged to the room and we had to go back and sign a receipt from previous day that they never brought. Other than that, we enjoyed it and had access to the lounge with the upgrade. We went into downtown one of the days and it took about 25 minutes because it is a little bit farther than being in Nuevo Vallarta. Overall, we had a lovely time and I would definitely visit this hotel again.

Awesome food and great service! The ribeye was amazing and the Malaysian soup. The dessert was also great. Sake was amazing as well. They made a special dessert with bananas and ice cream. I would definitely come check this place out. Definitely check this place out.

It was an OK stay

Alejandro V on May 01, 2025

Overall, our stay was OK. We were there for five days, four nights, and it was our first time in PV. Overall, the hotel has a few cosmetic errors, and the food is mediocre for the most part. Enclave is a waste of money, and the service is nothing special. Room - We stayed in an Enclave Governor Suite on the 14th floor and experienced issues the second we walked in. The floors were still a bit dirty, the AC was not working, and the jacuzzi was leaking water. After calling maintenance, we got the jacuzzi fixed and figured out the AC. The main shower head had a lot of calcium buildup up so the water pressure was terrible, and then the sink started leaking, and it took two days to fix. The cherry on top was seeing a roach crawl from the dining table to the sofa on our last night. Not the luxury I was promised or imagined. Food - The food was just OK. The only highlights were the food trucks and the grilling station outside by the pool. Besides that, room service, the Vela buffet, the Enclave lounge buffet, Sunan, and Seasalt were mediocre. Everything was just mass-produced and didn't really have much flavor to it. I get that all-inclusive restaurants are not known for their food, but everything just flatlined. My partner said it best: "Frozen cafeteria food." Service/Enclave - With the enclave upcharge, I was promised exceptional service everywhere I went, but that was not the case. For the most part, our 'premium enclave bracelets' did nothing for us service-wise. For the most part service was average, and we rarely got to know any of the workers. The only times we had a 'premium' experience were with Omar at Sunan and Patricia at the Enclave lounge, They were the only two who were sweet to us and gave us memorable experiences. It was lovely to have a cake delivered for our birthdays. Everything else would just take too long. There we moments where we couldn't even get a drink, making us feel like we were being flat out ignored. Hotel - The hotel is very beautiful but needs a revamp. The hallways are creepy with flickering lights and have smudges everywhere. The elevators were dirty and wet most of the time. The pool has tiles chipping off (I did scratch myself!) The gym had a leaking fire sprinkler that splashed water everywhere. It's sad to see such a premium hotel with a breathtaking location look dingy and mediocre. The best part was the beach area. The beach is fabulous and you're able to see fish swimming in the water. Also, the nightly entertainment was great; so many great performances! Overall, I don't see myself staying at this property again. Although it has a great beach, that does not justify the price point. I would love to see them revamp the hotel and make Enclave something more premium, other than private check-in and a private lounge. Although this trip was memorable, the hotel was not a standout for me or my partner.
